ATL day four (the remix)

Flight remix.

I had an hour left in Atlanta before my flight so I stopped off at Atlanta Underground, a weird shopping mall under the city. I guess it was created years ago when people found this architectural feature and it's been in use on and off over the years. I heard that it used to be a funky hippie hangout but now it's a mall like any other, but underground (and a little scary). I grabbed a burger and headed off to my flight on the subway. MARTA is actually a really great way to get around the city- it has some interesting art in the stations and the trains seem pretty new.

I arrived at the airport to find that my flight was canceled due to weather so I partook in the joy of a 2-3 hour line wait with some hardcore cell phone action. It turns out that weather is an act of god so I was stuck finding my own room for the night and I might get out in a day or two.

I went back to security to get my mini-baseball bat back because they had confiscated it (they were calling it an attitude adjustment device) and I booked a room at the Hyatt. Thankfully Atlanta is pretty affordable or I might've been stuck in the airport, not a party I ever want to live again.
